Training on Citizenship and Migration at ITC in Minsk

The International Training Center hosted training "The role of law enforcement agencies in the implementation of migration legislation".

From January 15 to 19, 2018, the International Training Center on Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted training for employees of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on the topic "The role of law enforcement agencies in the implementation of migration legislation".


The participants discussed the most urgent issues of the units for citizenship and migration, including the objectives of the migration policy of the Republic of Belarus; regulation of activities related to foreign labor; temporary and permanent residence of foreigners; international legal protection of refugees; use of information systems and other issues.


At the end of the training, a round table was held with the participation of the first deputy head of the Department-head of the unit for migration and work with foreign citizens and stateless persons, Vitaly Naumchik. The ways of improving the activities of departments for citizenship and migration were discussed. Participants had a good opportunity to get answers to their questions.

After successfully passing the interview and computer testing, the students received certificates of completion of training.
