Discussed issues of international law enforcement standards

An educational seminar for law enforcement officers was held.

From 6 to 7 July 2021 on the basis of the International Training Center for the training, advanced training and retraining of personnel in the field of migration and combating trafficking in persons of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, an educational seminar for law enforcement officers was held.

The event was held under the auspices of the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of Belarus. International expert support was provided by Khalit Bulanikli, an expert on interaction with the police forces, an international expert of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The event was attended by the Head of the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of Belarus Dzhorje Drndarski.

During the event, they discussed the application of international humanitarian law, ethical standards of conduct for police forces, international standards for the use of force and firearms, crowd control and flow of people. The listeners got acquainted in detail with the activities of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
