Advanced training course for employees of citizenship and migration units of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
From May 21 to May 25, 2018, the International training center on migration and combating trafficking in human beings of the educational establishment “The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus” conducted an advanced training course on "Legal framework for the units of citizenship and migration" for employees of units on citizenship and migration of internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
During the training students got acquainted with the following educational issues: the legal status of citizenship and migration units; the migration situation in the world and in the Republic of Belarus, the objectives of the migration policy of the Republic of Belarus; the legal status of foreigners in the Republic of Belarus; temporary and permanent residence of foreigners in the Republic of Belarus; the grounds and procedure for issuing and exchanging the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus; international and national system for the protection of forced migrants and other issues.
Training sessions were conducted by the course developer - senior lecturer of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Fedorako with participation of competent employees of the Department for Citizenship and Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
At the end of the training, students received certificates of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
